Training Manual

The Sahayak Trust has developed resource material consisting of a Training Manual & DVD for development of Organic Kitchen Gardens for Nutrition (OKGN). The Manual covers topics like – what is Nutrition based Anemia and how can it be cured, preparation of Organic Kitchen Gardens for Nutrition, seed selection, seed sowing, seed treatments, sowing information with time tables of a vegetables for OKGN, process of making organic manures and organic insecticides, information on friendly insects and enemy insects for the vegetables.

This DVD consists of information and guidance from experts on various aspects of Anemia and Organic Kitchen Garden Development.  It also demonstrates the various techniques for developing an OKGN,  organic pest control methods, seed conservation etc. It is an all time guide to start an OKGN at your doorstep.

Building Immunity : Microgreens

Building immunity is critical just now when people need it to fight against COVID 19. In this video we are talking about Microgreens – small green leaves which can be eaten within just 5 to 15 days of planting. Microgreens have 5 to 40 times as much nutrients as the adult plant.They help build immunity as they are a rich source of potassium, iron, zinc, magnesium and copper.
